Stages Overview

Overview of P=ENTS Stages

P=ENTS Methodology: Seven Stages of Community Building

The life of a P=ENTS community builder comprises 7 stages. Here is an overview of what each of these stages entails:

Stage 1: Scholarship

In the first stage of the P=ENTS community builder's journey, called Scholarship, the focus is on acquiring theoretical knowledge and skills related to the P=ENTS methodology. The Scholar learns about the values, pillars, tenets, principles, documentation and framework for P=ENTS community building. By the end of this stage, they are prepared to move on to Stage 2, Mission, where they will apply their knowledge in a real-world community context and actively fulfil the objectives of the P=ENTS methodology.

Stage 2: Mission

In the second stage of the P=ENTS community builder's journey, called Mission, the community builder applies the P=ENTS methodology in a real-world context, engaging with a community and implementing a community building plan. They actively listen to the community, apply the framework, deploy the plan, monitor progress, collaborate with the P=ENTS community and gain practical experience. By the end of this stage, they have valuable insights and are prepared for Stage 3, Engagement, where they will deepen their integration into the P=ENTS community.

Stage 3: Engagement

In the third stage of the P=ENTS community builder's journey, called Engagement, the community builder deepens their integration into the P=ENTS methodology and community. They receive mentorship, engage in learning and skill development, actively participate in the community, reflect on their experiences and utilise available resources. By the end of this stage, the Engager has solidified their position as a community builder and is prepared to progress to Stage 4, Reflection.

Stage 4: Reflection

In the fourth stage of the P=ENTS community builder's journey, called Reflection, the community builder engages in self-reflection, learns from mistakes and contributes to the improvement of the P=ENTS methodology. They evaluate their past actions, make amends, provide feedback on the methodology, start mentoring others and strive for continuous improvement and innovation. This prepares them for the next stage, Alliance, where they will commit to the P=ENTS community officially and create a lasting impact on communities.

Stage 5: Alliance

In the fifth stage of the P=ENTS community builder's journey, called Alliance, experienced community builders formally align themselves with the P=ENTS methodology permanently and contribute to its growth. They become ENTs and are joined by TENs and NETs, who are subject matter authorities and communicators brought in to advance the communities ENTS serve and raise awareness of the methodology. During this stage, all three collaborate, mentor others, advocate for the methodology, engage in continuous learning and strive to create lasting change.

Stage 6: Service

In the sixth stage of the P=ENTS community builder's journey, called Service, experienced community builders focus on mentoring and teaching others. They engage in core community activities, collaborate with peers, and continue to learn and develop. Their aim is to foster new leaders, create a sustainable ecosystem, and prepare for the final stage of Anointment, where they pass on their knowledge and power to the next generation.

Stage 7: Anointment

The final stage of the P=ENTS community builder's journey, Anointment, represents the pinnacle of selflessness and achievement in community building and entry to Elysium. Anointers voluntarily relinquish their power, support new leaders, advocate for decentralisation and leave a lasting legacy as world-leading experts, inspiring others to prioritise community well-being and embody the values of the P=ENTS methodology.
