Building thriving communities requires a solid foundation rooted in beliefs that have been tried, tested and refined through practical application and shown to be successful.
Grounded in the real world experience and collective wisdom of ENTS (accredited P=ENTS community builders), the 40 tenets of P=ENTS form the backbone of the P=ENTS community building methodology.
Tenets are beliefs held to be true by ENTS after implementing the P=ENTS methodology with their communities and learning from their successes and failures.
There are 10 tenets for each of the four pillars of P=ENTS community building: education, narrative, transparency and structure.
Each set of 10 tenets can be compared to bricks in each pillar, forming a sturdy structure.
By upholding all 40 of these tenets, ENTS are well equipped to use education, narrative, transparency and structure as vehicles to infuse their communities with truth, beauty and goodness.
They shape the mindset and actions of ENTS, empowering them to navigate the complexities of community development, nurture connections and realise the shared vision and values of the communities they serve.
As the P=ENTS methodology is refined and improved over time through community member contributions, these tenets may change but the values they transmit and the pillars of that propagate them will always stay the same.
